Ingredients
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh pineapple dicedÂ
2 green or red serenade chillies or Jalapenos
Capsicum
German bakehouse pizza baseÂ
Cherry tomatoes (Optional)
½ cup sliced red onion (Optional)
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh parsley leaves
Basil leavesÂ
Olive oil
Directions
- Place a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet in the oven. Preheat the oven to 450° (keep pizza stone or baking sheet in oven as it preheats).
- Heat olive oil in a medium pan. Cook the pineapple slices for 20-25 minutes until they turn a nice caramel brown color. Flip the pineapple slices occasionally.
- Slice the red serenade chillies, basil & parsleyÂ
- Carefully remove pizza stone from oven; place dough on pizza stone.Bake at 450° for 9 minutes. Remove partially cooked crust, Spread the pizza sauce over the pizza crust then add the mozzarella cheese. Top the pizza with the pineapple slices, serenade chillies, onions, cherry tomatoes if desired and capsicumÂ
- Bake at 450° for 10 minutes or until the cheese is browned. Sprinkle with parsley and basil and any other desired topping. Slice.
