Directions
- Homemade Pizza Sauce
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the whole garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the tomato puree and add your bunch of thyme.
- Cook the sauce until it thickens and reduces, ensuring it is not too watery. If desired, blend the sauce for a smoother texture, or use it as is for a chunkier sauce.
- White Pesto Pizza
- Preheat your oven, preferably an Ooni pizza oven, to the recommended temperature.
- Sprinkle corn flour on a pizza peel to prevent the dough from sticking.
- Place the pizza dough or ready-made pizza base on the peel
- Spread a layer of green pesto over the dough/base.
- Crumble ricotta cheese over the pesto.
- Optionally, add goat cheese, crushed garlic, sundried tomatoes, and bocconcini balls.
- Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 3 minutes or until the crust is cooked and the cheese is melted.
- Once done, garnish with fresh basil leaves and rocket, if desired.
- Cheesy Skillet Pizza
- Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the pizza dough or ready-made pizza base in the hot skillet.
- Â Spread the homemade pizza sauce evenly over the dough/base.
- Sprinkle freshly grated mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add sliced black olives and bocconcini balls as desired.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Â Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with your favorite fresh herbs.
- Mouthwatering Meat Lovers Gluten-Free Pizza
- Preheat your oven to the recommended temperature.
- Place the gluten-free pizza base on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread a layer of homemade pizza sauce over the base.
- Sprinkle freshly grated mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add slices of ham, sliced sausages, minced/grated garlic, and black olives.
- Top with another layer of cheese and scatter broken bocconcini.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Once cooked, garnish with oregano and basil before serving
