Say hello to our newest brew. Inspired by the Japanese, who add rice to their beers to bring crispness, some might rightly call this an Asian lager. But we have bamboo in Kenya too, you know! And with a few special twists from our brewers in Kikuyu and the freshest rice from the rolling plains of Mwea, we christened this our Kenyan lager. Crush a glass or three with some Nyama Choma and pili pili. Niaje!

254 Brewing is Kenya’s first line of naturally clarified, small-batch craft beers. 254’s expert brewmasters use over 20 specially selected malts to create 13 different beers that are full of character and have no added chemicals. We brew locally in our state-of-the-art facility in Kikuyu, on the outskirts of Nairobi.

All 254 bottles can be washed and returned to us, and we will send them back to Mayers for reuse. As a bonus, you’ll receive KES 10 credit in your Greenspoon account for each bottle you return.
