Say hello to our newest brew. Inspired by the Japanese who add rice to bring crispness to their beers, some might rightly call this an Asian lager. But we got bamboo in Kenya too you know! And with a few special twists from our brewers in Kikuyu, and the freshest rice from the rolling plains of Mwea, we christened this our Kenyan lager. Crush a glass or three with some Nyama Choma and pili pili. Niaje!

254 Brewing is Kenya’s first line of naturally clarified, small-batch craft beers. 254’s expert brewmasters use over 20 specially selected malts to create 13 different beers that are full of character and have no added chemicals. We brew locally in our state of the art facility in Kikuyu, on the outskirts of Nairobi.
All 254 beer bottles can be washed and returned to us for reuse, as an added bonus the deposit for the bottle will be credited to your Green Spoon account.
