​VINIFICATIONÂ
Grapes are hand harvested and destemmed before fermentation onset. Pump-overs and punch down are utilized for colour extraction. Before the wine is finished with alcoholic fermentation, it is pressed to ensure that the tannin expression is fine and subtle. Wine has no oak interference during ageing, to allow the wine’s fruit composition to be more expressed. Subtle tannin structure is from the fermentation process which results in a complex wine with integrated tannins.
VARIETAL : 100% Pinotage.
NOSE : A youthful wine that is zesty and packed with upfront, fruity flavours. Rich, welcoming berry flavours.
PALATE : A wine with substance that will linger long on the palate. It contains subtle, velvety tannins that dominate the concentration of juicy, fruity flavours in its medium-bodied structure.
FOOD PAIRING : A wine to enjoy on its own, but will also pair beautifully with a meat platter or curry dishes.
AGEING : A wine to be enjoyed 1-3 years from the year of vintage.
