LaCheteau is a trading house in the Loire. They are also producers of a number of very popular house wine series, part of the wine is also purchased in the Languedoc. LaCheteau is the largest still wine merchant in the Val de Loire region. It produces wines in various appellations in the Pays de Nantes, Anjou and Touraine, as well as vins de pays. Vinival owns 240 hectares of vineyards and also buys grapes from 500 growers. The fruit is processed in four production centres, each of which meets very strict hygiene and traceability standards. Tangible proof of this is the certification ISO 9002. Vinival markets its wines under different brand names. For the vin de pays this is for example ‘Denis Marchais’.
