Little Qwean was founded by a first-time mum, psychologist and food enthusiast that wanted healthy, sustainable, nutritious and locally produced baby food to wean her son. She wasn’t pleased that the only options that were available in the market were imported and thus not sustainable, despite there being an abundance of fresh, and nutritious fruits and vegetables in Kenya that could be used to produce baby food. She decided to take matters into her own hands, and the result was the birth of Little Qwean.
This bright and beautiful dish is not only super healthy, but it also packs a practical punch. Slightly drier than the other meals, this recipe is designed to help your baby improve their oral motor skills. It is a great one to let them scoop themselves or practice their spoon skills with.
For babies 9 months and over.
Preparation Instructions: Defrost in the microwave until piping hot, let cool to a safe temperature then feed to your baby. Or defrost in the fridge overnight then heat
