Originally from Kyoto, this popular miso paste has a mild umami flavor with a mellow, nutty sweetness. It’s made from fermented soy beans and is only fermented for 6 months. It’s used primarily as a soup base (for miso soup) but can also be used as a pickling agent or as a condiment for a crudité platter.
Ingredients: Rice, Soya Beans, Water, Salt & Koji.
