Septima Malbec 2020

The Séptima Winery, is located in Mendoza (Argentina), near the eastern foothills of the Andes. The area is known for being the most important wine producing region of Argentina. The 360 hectares of Séptima are more than 1,050 metres above sea level and all maintenance of the vines is undertaken manually and individually. The Séptima ranch surrounds the winery, keeping in lines with the old French Chateaux style. This, in turn, minimises the amount of time it takes to transfer the grapes from the field to the winery in order to preserve the quality of the grapes. The wines from Séptima Winery are of utmost quality and proudly boast numerous sorts of recognition in the press and at international contests.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright ruby red.

Nose: Well-defined and persistent. Notes of plums and figs combine with the vanilla notes from oak ageing, making the wine pleasant and subtle.

Mouth: Sweet and dense on the palate, with an attractive mineral taste. Long and persistent finish, with a delicate flavour of sweet black berries.

Pairing: Ideal to pair with red meats, game and gourmet dishes.
