Established in 2009, Spring Valley Coffee is nestled in a Nairobi suburb that was historically renowned for its coffee estates. We are passionate about sourcing our coffee: where it comes from, who grows it, ensuring farmers get paid a fair price, and the processing methods used. We are fanatical about roasting every batch to perfection – by hand, with love.

Tasting Notes: Dark roast with a full body, Orange acidity with a lingering finish; Hints of vanilla, burnt sugar, and chocolate.

Varietal: Ruiru 11, SL 28, SL 34.

Region: Central and Upper Eastern Kenya.

Process: Fully washed.

Altitude: 1,550 – 1,750 meters above sea level

Rainfall: 1,050 mm per annum.

Temperature: 16 – 25 °C.
