Trumpeter Rosé de Malbec is well-balanced, round and persistent. An extremely distinctive and intense wine with delicate aromas of cherries and strawberries combined with subtle toasty notes and delicious sweet tannins. An excellent aperitif or accompaniment to salads shellfish pink salmon or fruity desserts.

Varietal: 100% Malbec

Vineyards: Tupungato Mendoza

Harvest: Manual, at night time to prevent oxidation and preserve fruity freshness.

Vinification: 14 days in stainless steel truncated cone 7,500 litre tanks, at 14C. Aging in tanks with fine lees (10 days) was also contemplated, for the purpose of retaining a fresh and fruity character.

Type of Oak: 100% 2nd use French.

Acidity: 6g/l. pH: 3.4. Sugar: 4.55 g/l. Alcohol: 13%.

Tasting Notes: limpid rosé, raspberry touch with lilac nuances. The subtle floral profile gives frame to the fresh red fruit notes (cherry, strawberry, gooseberry), slightly citric. This Malbec Rosé’s production is the one used in Provence (South of France), which results in a crystalline rosé, a distinctive feature for the connoisseurs, which anticipates a new ideal of high quality.

Serving Temperature: 9 – 11 C

Style: The great novelty of this product lies in it’s style, which expresses a very rich flavour palate while stemmed in in an unprecedented fragile rosé hue. The patient battonage (shaking of fine lees) results in an increased volume in mouth and a kind aftertaste, refined and dry. Malbec 2015’s Trumpeter Reserve Rosé is a wine which amazes the consumer by delivering more than expected. A lasting experience to share with friends and family year-round.

Pairing: An extensive list of dishes can make a harmonious pair with this exceptional rosé, from avocado dishes and cold cuts of meat to rice with seafood paella Valencia, crab, classic carpaccio, grilled sardines and anchovies, prawn risotto, Portuguese style chicken stew, artichokes, asparagus and goat’s cheese.
