Vergelegen Mill Race, 2023

The wine shows an attractive lemony yellow-green color with a complex nose of citrus, peach, tropical fruit, and mineral tones. The palate is long and full with delicate wooding. Beautifully refined and elegant.

This is the third year that entirely Estate-grown grapes have been used in the making of the Premium Chardonnay. The vineyards were cropped at 6.5 tons/ha – 40% of the grapes were barrel fermented and the rest in tanks. The Vergelegen Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2020 is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot grapes sourced from the renowned Paarl region in South Africa. This wine shows a rich and full-bodied flavor profile with dark fruit, spice, and a hint of berries. It has a smooth tannin structure and a long, velvety finish. Enjoy it with grilled meats or robust cheeses.
