Pre-soaked lupin beans (soak for 8hrs or preferably overnight)
Canola chili infused oil for flavor
- Seasoning
Paprika
Garam masala
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Lemons – optional
Directions
- Boil the lupin beans for 40 minutes, drain water once done and set aside.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the chili infused oil then add the lupins.
- Fry for 5-7 minutes while adding the seasoning spices. Toss to make sure the seasoning is well spread. Tip: Turn off the oven and leave beans in for 5 to 10 minutes or until as crisp as you like.
- After roasting, feel free to add any other seasoning you’d like or squeeze some lemon and enjoy. Note: You can use an air fryer as well for this. The cooking time is the same 🙂
