The Flower Factory is a privately-owned company, led by industry experts from backgrounds of agriculture, horticulture and floriculture. Our team on the ground are a group of young professionals, as well as trained agronomists, which enables us to provide exemplary service and quality of care.
The Flower Factory is a garden center, located in Karen; we offer a tried-and-true unique selection of plants, planters, accessories and horticultural knowledge to all plant lovers.
We specialize in bringing colour to your garden, home, office or restaurant. We believe that being surrounded by beautiful plants contributes positively to your mental health and wellbeing.
Our Goals
Our goal is to supply the Kenyan market with the most colourful, unique and uplifting plants that are available. There is no shortage of sellers for green plants, hedges and other sorts of shrubbery in Kenya, however we have noticed a distinct lack of suppliers for colourful or unique plants. This is where we come in; through importing and cultivating collectible and desirable plants, the Flower Factory is in a world of its own when it comes to the supply of exotic and interesting varieties.
When we Opened
We started trading in March of 2021, and since then have grown exponentially; with our production facility in Athi River growing by 50% and our wholesale and retails lines growing in tandem as we become more established in the market.
Where we are located
Our primary retail location is 320 Ngong Road, within the same compound as Dojo and Talisman.
Our speciality
We specialise in unique house plants and flowering pots – the sort of things that are not typically available on the roadside, or in most supermarkets (though some supermarkets are now starting to stock out products!). In addition to this we can also supply a wide range of herbs, hanging baskets and well known varieties of flowers and plants.

As our sales team are all graduated or training agronomists, we have a level of knowledge and plant-care that cannot be beaten by our competitors. From propagating seeds through to appropriate light, water and nutritional needs, our hands-on team are able to help even the most inexperienced of plant owners be successful with their new greenery.
In addition to this, our location and flexibility make us an ideal commercial partner – with retail, wholesale and consignment solutions available, we have the means to address any customer need or requirement.
