Targets & Timeline

2016
Greenspoon is founded with the aim to connect customers to the source of their food. Starts with paper bags (zero plastic), living wage, fair pay for suppliers, and a responsibly hosted website.

2017-2020
Plants 50 trees per year. In 2019, first Electric delivery Vehicle commissioned, with small solar plant to run day-to-day operations.

2021
Secures major investment from TBL Dairy; 2 additional EVs purchased. Enters into agreement with Fika for electric bikes. Plants 50 trees.

2022
Achieves B Corp Certification with a score of 83.3.

2023
Secures partnership with ROAM and M-Kopa for 3 electric delivery bikes. Rolls out Woolcool insulation to reduce polystyrene use. Plants over 200 mangroves to offset emissions. Puts on Learn & Transform Supplier Day to encourage more B Corp Certifications.

2024
TARGETS: Roll out Farmer Partnerships and support over 200 farmers to convert from conventional to regenerative farming. Implement solar power. Convert entire fleet to Electric.

2025
TARGET: run 100% through solar. Become carbon neutral as a business.

2026
TARGET: become carbon positive.
