Established in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Their aim is to produce authentic, well-priced still and sparkling wines from local grape varieties.
Ancora Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine has plenty of fruit balanced by structure and a supple body – proper food wine! Immediate red cherry fruits spring out of the glass, along with aromas of plum, juicy fresh cherries, and subtle spices. The palate is fresh and bright displaying red fruit and blackberry flavors, herbal notes, a plump texture, and chocolate notes on the finish.
Pairing: Match with pasta and ragu sauce, pizza, grilled meat even carpaccio of beef.
