Exploration Syrah’ Cave De Tain , 2020

From the Syrah experts at Cave de Tain comes an IGP Syrah, a perfect companion to their Crozes-Hermitage Sans Sulfites. Making a ‘Sans Sulfites’ Syrah isn’t an experiment but embodies Tain’s philosophy. Sourced from the northern Rhône Hills, the Syrah benefits from growers practicing sustainable viticulture. Vine health is prioritized through practices like ‘epillonnage,’ ensuring grapes are delivered quickly to the cellar within 15km, eliminating the need for added sulfur.

The 2020 vintage offers intense dark berry fruit, smooth tannin, and the freshness of authentic northern Rhône Syrah. Ideal for aperitifs, grilled meats, or duck terrine, it pairs well with Saint-Marcellin and Picodon cheeses.
