Zara has been working on establishing her business since 2015, experimenting with different art techniques & styles. Her business was officially launched at the beginning of 2023. She started off on a small scale, working on commission art pieces for clients. This quickly grew into creating home decor as she developed a passion for bringing the beauty of the ocean into people’s homes, creating awareness of Kenya’s marine life, & designing the soft coastal details onto fabrics. A strong motive behind her business is ensuring their is no plastic involved in her products. All fabrics are 100% locally cultivated cotton, & all packaging is made from either paper or card.
