250g Home Chef Gluten-free all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1.5 tablespoons cooking oil
Warm water (add gradually until you form a soft dough)
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 250g of Home Chef Gluten-Free Flour, 1/2 teaspoon of table salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Gradually add 1.5 tablespoons of cooking oil to the dry mixture.
- Slowly incorporate warm water into the mixture until you achieve a soft, smooth dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and use the stretch-and-fold method. Form a nice ball, lightly oil it, and let it rest in a covered bowl with cling film for 20-30 minutes.
- After the dough has rested, roll it out on a floured surface to a thin, round shape. Chef Larry recommends using the stretch-and-fold method for a perfect texture.
- Heat a medium-hot pan and place the round gluten-free chapati on it. Cook until you see bubbles, then flip. Apply cooking oil, flip again, and savor the golden-brown perfection!
