Limoncello Sunrise

Directions

• Fill a glass with ice cubes to the top.
• Pour 1 part of Limoncello liqueur over the ice in the glass.
• Gently pour 1 part of Orange juice over the back of a spoon held just above the Limoncello layer. This will create a distinct layer of orange juice on top of the Limoncello.
• In a separate container, combine 1/2 part of Grapefruit juice with a splash of tonic water. This will help achieve the desired grapefruit layer’s color and taste.
• Slowly pour the mixed grapefruit and tonic water layer over the back of a spoon, held just above the orange juice layer. This will allow the grapefruit layer to form gently on top of the orange juice layer.
• To enhance the cocktail’s complexity, you can add a desired amount of gin to the cocktail. This step is optional but can add depth and character to the drink. You can add the gin either before or after layering the fruit juices, depending on your preference.
