Maggie’s Butcher is owned and run by Maggie, who grew up and spent plenty of her younger years on a massive farm in Namibia where she learned all there is to know about beef and meat. She sources her beef from her brother’s ranch which is around the coast of Kenya. Like many new world students, she’s learned a lot of butchering skills from YouTube videos, and lots of practice and new age she can carve a hunk of beef like a master craftsman.
Maggie sources her chicken from local farmers who practice free-range rearing of the birds, which not only ensures that they live a happy life but also ensures that soil is taken care of as they scratch and forage the land. They are humanely reared and slaughtered so you can enjoy a guilt-free dining experience.
Chicken mince is a versatile ingredient to have in your kitchen. It can be used to make homemade meatballs, samosas and burger patties or a great bowl of chilli, or venture into more adventurous territories such as chicken sloppy Joes!
