Maggie’s Butcher Wiener Schnitzel – (Frozen)

Maggie’s Butcher is owned and run by Maggie, who grew up and spent plenty of her younger years on a massive farm in Namibia where she learned all there is to know about beef and meat. She sources her beef from her brother’s ranch which is around the coast of Kenya. Like many new world students, she’s learned a lot of butchering skills from YouTube videos, and lots of practice and new age she can carve a hunk of beef like a master craftsman.

If there’s one food most closely associated with Vienna, then it’s the Wiener Schnitzel.

Wiener Schnitzel is one of the most iconic Austrian dishes. It’s very popular in Austria and neighboring countries. Wiener means Viennese (from Vienna) in German so the name has nothing to do with hot dogs or wieners.

Traditional Wiener Schnitzel is a breaded veal cutlet that is pounded very thinly and then deep-fried until extremely crispy. However, it can be made from different meats, such as in this case where it is made from pork. It’s usually served with lemon slices/wedges, lingonberry jam, and potato salad.
