Using the finest cocoa from Uganda and Tanzania, the cocoa beans are transformed into chocolate by adding simple ingredients such as sugar and milk powder. They source their chocolate from smallholder farmers that strive to produce high-quality cocoa. Their cocoa suppliers follow Fairtrade standards to ensure farmers succeed and are able to build a future for generations to come. As a contribution to the farmer, they buy cocoa at a higher price than the market price to give back and ensure the farmers get a good source of income for their produce. Once the cocoa arrives in their factory, they sort, roast, crack, winnow, grind, and temper the chocolate, which is then sorted into blocks and held in tanks until used to handcraft the delicious chocolate products for you to enjoy.
