Ingredients

  • Greek Roasted Veggie Pizza
  • 2 FrenchMaid Pita Bread

  • 1 eggplant, sliced thinly

  • 4 1 zucchini, sliced thinly

  • 1 onion sliced thinly 

  • 149g cherry tomatoes halved

  • 230ml of pizza sauce*

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Feta, optional

  • Breakfast Pizza
  • 2 FrenchMaid Pita Bread

  • 8 bacon slices, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces, cooked

  • 1½  tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 200g mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Spicy Shrimp Pizza
  • 2 FrenchMaid Pita Bread

  • 4 tbsp olive oil, divided

  • 450g large cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • pinch of salt and black pepper

  • 230ml of pizza sauce*

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • ¼ tsp dried oregano

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 10g fresh basil, chopped

  • grated Parmesan cheese

  • Strawberry & Camembert Pizza
  • 2 FrenchMaid Pita Bread

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 packet Browns Camembert cheese, cut into slices

  • 12 strawberries, quartered

  • ¼ tsp vanilla

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 36g almonds, toasted and chopped

  • *Pizza Sauce Recipe
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 25 cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 130ml dry white wine/veggie broth

Directions

  • Greek Roasted Veggie Pizza
  • Toss the zucchini, eggplant, onion and garlic with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes at 200°C until soft. 
  • Place the pita on a sheet pan and spread pizza sauce generously, then add the zucchini mixture and then place on top the tomatoes. Drizzle with ¼ teaspoon of olive oil then add crumbled feta (optional).
  • Put in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve as is or cut in wedges.
  • Breakfast Pizza
  • Brush dough with olive oil and garlic. Top with mozzarella, bacon and green onions, leaving 3 (3-inch rounds) for the eggs.
  • Place into preheated oven and bake at 180°C until the edges begin to brown, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Add eggs, gently cracking the eggs throughout and keeping the yolk intact.
  • Place into oven and bake until the egg whites have set and crust is golden brown, an additional 8-10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired
  • Spicy Shrimp Pizza
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Lay pita bread on a sheet pan, brush with olive oil, Sprinkle about half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pizza, leaving a 1-inch border. Then evenly spread the pizza sauce on top of the cheese. Add the shrimp in an even layer, and then cover with the remaining mozzarella.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until dough has risen and cheese is melted. Remove and garnish with chopped fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. In a bowl, combine vanilla, honey and lemon juice. Mix well, add strawberries and let sit.
  • Lay pita bread on a sheet pan, top with slices of Camembert. Place back in oven until cheese is softened. Remove from oven and top each with a spoonful of honeyed strawberries. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve immediately.
  • Pizza Sauce Recipe
  • Add 2 Tbsp. oil to the skillet. Add onions and saute for another 5 minutes, or until translucent. Add garlic and saute for one minute. Add wine or broth, and deglaze pan for one minute. Then add tomatoes, and oregano. Reduce heat to medium-low, and let simmer and reduce for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
